I don't even know what to title this as.

WARNING: This is me and my 'I hate being being in Year 11' mood.

 At the moment, I am sitting at the dining room table (which is used more as a study) surrounded by paper and books about how much importance Mr Collins has in Pride and Prejudice....and shouting 'Oh my god, I cannot think properly' to my empty, lonely house.
Oh I love weekends, don't you?

I have no social life for...maybe 3/4 months. The first time in a while that I ACTUALLY WENT OUT was last Monday with some friends Christmas shopping. Yep. You heard it right, I still need to get Christmas gifts for four of my best friends. Blame mocks, not our laziness....

In other news, it is a month till MY BIRTHDAY. I will be 16 years old. Wow-as. And GCSE's, I was thinking about the other day. When you're in like Year 7,8 or 9, you don't actually realise the stress the Year 11's have. I mean, I remember thinking last year that 'Oh Year 11's going to be quite easy with the fact I've done most of the work in Year 10' WHAT?
I was so wrong. There is still so many exams and so much coursework left to do. And two of my teachers have either broken/twisted their feet...ahh.

So. I am so stressed at this minute. As much as I didn't mind Pride and Prejudice and I think Collins is probably the most well-written character by a long shot, I'm starting to hate it. This is what GCSE English does to you:

- You despise Of Mice and Men and the way Steinbeck has used so many ways to show things about the characters/places.
- I cannot watch War of the Worlds (with Tom Cruise) without analysising it and saying 'oh I love the way they've done this blah blah BLAH....'
- I hate Romeo and Juliet. I still have no idea what Shakespeare is rattling on about, although, I cannot watch the 1960's version of the movie without thinking the Romeo looks like Zac Efron, BIG time.
- I'm starting to hate Mr Collins and Pride and Prejudice in general. I have 6 more points to cover and I'm stuck and just cannot describe what is happening or what is important about it. To be honest, I think I've gone off on a rant about something I have no idea I did.
- I feel like I can Write to Persuade to anyone. Oh yeah! (oh god rebecca, you saddo)

That's kinda it. And I got it out my system. PHEW....
Oh and then, I get My Mock Results (haha MMR - anyone else find that funny?) on Thursday afternoon. Oh boy...

EXAMS!

Day 2 of the Mock Exams and I'm already exhausted. Like I want to go and live in a cave with a sleeping bag and pillow for a month tired. I know I'm a teenager and everything but seriously...I am so fed up with revision and Of Mice and Men and frequency tables, it's stupid.

Today I did English Language, RS and yesterday, Science.
English was...okay. Though I forgot a question...nearly. RS was only 30 mins long and had only 4 questions so it seemed to fly by (though the guys sitting next to me who didn't write anything didn't seem to agree) and Science which was...moderate.
Tomorrow I have a whole day of exams. Maths, French and English Literture. Oh yay. Fun.

Also. I've decided that christmas present buying is such a love/hate relationship. I mean, I like going out shopping in the winter with all the Christmas decorations. But I always have no idea what to buy my friends. I think it's time to go to Boots to get a bath set. You can't go wrong with a bath set :)

I am so happy at the moment with the blog. In the last few days, I've had 4 new followers and lots of comments on how they like my writing which also makes me smile. I remember how only a few months ago, I was writing to myself...literally. Now I know someone is actually reading this, it makes me feel happy inside :)

Anyway. Thank you. You will be rewarded someday. :)

SUN! finally....

Yes. It's half term in this wonderful ABSOLUTELY FREEZING country of England which for me started about an hour ago...yay.

I've had a pretty intense day. I went up to London to the Imperial War Museum with my school to see the Holocaust Exhitibition, something we studied last year. It was...incredible. We were allowed to go around by ourselves, something most teachers are scared of. And well...I didn't finish seeing everything because of the hunger of my fellow students who had. And yeah I'm annoyed but...it was amazing. I was just so...caught up in it all. For those that have gone, yes, I did cry to myself. It's just such a moving story but I'm so glad I went. And actually, really enjoyed it. It really makes me value my life now. And it's only been a few hours.

Moving on. Tomorrow I am going on holiday to...America. Yes. You American followers, Rebecca is going to Florida. I cannot wait to get on that plane. So here are my lovely collection of books I am bringing avec moi.

Ramblings #1

Okay I just need to get this off my chest. Well a few things. *Cue long list of things that is happening in my brain at this moment.* Let me commence. 


1.  So. I FINALLY finished this Statistics coursework that I've been getting stressed over for like FOREVER. And it's a Mock. YES A STRESSFUL MOCK. Because I wasn't told what I was doing. Anyway. I'm so proud I finished it 4 days early. YAAY. 


2. I hate it when people who are normally so lovely and compliment you on how pretty you look today in dreary school uniform and then behind your apparently 'pretty' back, go and bitch about you to YOUR TWO BEST FRIENDS. I mean, who does that? And the things it was about. The most pathetic things I have heard in my whole bitching experience. They just don't like the fact I'm friends with them. AND, I talked to them when no-one else did and I hardly appreciate it when they're like that, do I?


3. Halloween. I cannot wait. It's my first Halloween in the country, normally I'm away as it's in half term usually. So I'm away this half term (sorry guys. Going to AMERICA :D ) but come back on halloween morning so I can go to my friend's HARRY POTTER themed party. Oh yeah. You heard it. Joey is also attending. I shall put pictures up. Don't worry. 
BUT my one problem is I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR. I might go for a blue jumper and a black skirt with patterned tights and my friend, Abbi is lending me a Hogwarts 7-8 aged robe. But still...does anyone know where I can get something like this, just comment below:

 4. I've been thinking this for a while because now I'm hooked on blogging. Seriously. I am, it's weird I know. SO. I've decided that this is going to be not only a Book Blog, but a Fashion and like 'My Life blog' too. Of course, it will be mostly about Books but they would be an add on. So. The Fashion part will have like Latest buys, my love for Vintage clothing and jewellery and anything in that department that I get excited about. The Life part will be like, well, this. And I shall include pictures of any exciting moments in my life. So...you have that to look forward to. To come in the not too distant future :)


5. Erm...is that the end? I think so. Oh the competition link isn't working, thanks to Joey telling me, so when I have some free time, I'll change it and make a whole new post.


6. Urgh. Still fuming after this crappy week. 


Sorry about the word 'bitch'. Best word to describe it and let's face it, it isn't the most offensive word.
